This warranty guarantees that your new instrument was built by the Master builders of Sugi Musical Instruments Ltd, and has passed strict quality control inspections during and after its construction. To show confidence in our work, we issue this limited Lifetime Warranty with each new instrument to the original purchas- er, subject to the conditions below.

• This new instrument is warranted against faulty materials and workmanship for life, to the original owner. If a problem is found to fall within the scope of this warranty, the guitar will be repaired or replaced free of charge at our discretion, subject to the following conditions and exclusions.
• This instrument must have been purchased new, from an authorized Sugi dealer. Proof of Purchase is necessary for any and all warranty claims. Keep your sales receipt, this is your proof of purchase. Any shipping charges or other related expenses including travel, or insurance of the instrument related to any claims or repairs are the responsibility of the customer.
• Strings, worn plating, worn frets or fingerboard, discoloration or damage to the finish of any kind, scratched pick guards, or worn tuning machines are not covered by this warranty.
• The issue of tone is a subjective point and is not covered by this warranty.
• Any damage deemed by us or our representative to be caused by misuse, accident or mishandling, including but not limited to shipping damage of any kind, dents or scratches, and damage resulting from exposure to extremes in natural conditions including temperature or humidity are not covered by this warranty.
• The instrument must not have been modified or repaired in any way, except by an authorized Sugi repair or service technician.
• Warranty claims should be brought to the attention of the store where you purchased the instrument. In the event this is impossible, please contact us directly for assistance. Never ship your instrument for warranty work without prior authorization.
